I've got a simple-yet-probably-not-so request to the hex-adept modders here.
The Tug has two different "loud-outs", "Basic" and "Armed". The Basic "loud-out" is helpless, but the Armed loud-out packs four machine guns, a cannon, and a depth charge racks. It's by far more powerful than its cousin, the Armed Trawler.
However, in combat it's lacking. It behaves like a merchant, just zig-zagging instead of taking on an enemy head-on. As such, it's very easy to outmaneuver. It also probably never gets to use its depth charges. If it was given the A.I. of the Armed Trawler, it'd be far more potent - except when it ran itself aground, of course:p.
My proposed solution is to divide the Tug into two ships: The Tug and the Armed Tug. Even better, it could be named Generic Submarine Chaser, and another empty gap would be filled.
For all I know, GWX has this one covered, too (and it might be a bad idea to start modding it if it's already underway;)), but I still want to throw it out for feedback.
