if this been brought up before i'm sorry..has anyone tried to mod the tonnage pennants ...i belive you all know what i'm talking about ?..or would this be a problem as far as displaying ..i belive it would either have to be displayed at all times or could it be made to be scripted in and set a time line for the image to be shown...now that i have made a fool of myself ..i'll shut up and go back to my corner:-?

The problem with this is attachment points that shift (periscope) and the fact that such a thing would have to be "always on" ...meaning that when you dive the boat... the pennants would still be visible under water... and the penants would not be dynamic based on your tonnage.

I don't feel that the benefits would outweigh the problems.:-?

It can be done and even so that the pennants will not be visible under water but the way it can be implemented makes it not worth doing in my opinion (sure, someone will do that anyway at some point).

By the sounds of it it ought to be n SH4 thing. But Im not sure if American subs did that. Though certainly they could add the ability to do such a thing. I imagine it would involve creating a kind of spawn that would cause the appropriate number of banners to appear on the scope as you near harbour. Then you could raise the scope and return in glory.

SO far I think its beyond our abilities in modding SH3 at this time.
