Fido torpedoes in US Navy

Can I add a mod so that USA owns & fires Fido torp to subs? This should be great fun + realistic since Fido is designed for ASW purposes and its kill rate is high

I don't see why not. They would have to come into play at the right time period, to start, and be something not often used, as it doesn't seem they were actually combat-launched a great deal. Not sure how you'd set their actual operating parameters up; then again, I'm not overly familiar how torpedo ordnance is scripted, either.

I don't think that there is any doubt that your idea is good, but I am not sure how much progress is being made with regards to AI torpedoes. You may want to talk to Sergbuto, to see if he has made any progress in that area.
