View Full Version : Grey wolves 1.1a no ship names?
Hello!
I haven't played SH3 for some time now. Yesterday i installed it again with GW and SH commander. Now i sunk my first ship and there was no name in log. Before when i played it said C3 or C2. Now it says only contact. The same is when i go to museum. Under classes says only contact for every ship. Can u help me out here? Or is this stndard GW feature?

I haven't got round to implementing it yet.

I deleted it once it was installed.

If you want to have ships names in your log you can do it through SH3 Commander. Go to SH3 Options and then click on Use Real Ships Names. You don't need to re-install GW for that. The only problem is that it might not assign names to ships already sunk.

I don't think that option is 'retrospective' beause the career file will have already been written :yep:
Thank u for your kind replies, but that option doesnt work. I had it checked from beginning, before i started my first career. I think ony solution is to re-download GW and reinstall, without generic names mod.

I cannot understand what the generic mod has to do with it. Why don't you try to re-install SH3 Commander?? I don't know maby I'm wrong here but I think the generic contacts mod has to do with the ships identity and not its name.
