Moin,
here is what I´m heading for:
http://www.a7700.de/extern/MBoat_Glas_004.gif
And this is my problem:
http://www.a7700.de/extern/MBoat_Glas_003.gif
Depending on the angle of view the transparent object is partly visible only.
Whenever the glas is part of the main object, as in the upper screenshot, no problem occurs.
Any ideas?
Regards,
DD
Try duplicating the windshield frame and reversing the normals.

Moin,
Try duplicating the windshield frame and reversing the normals.
Ref Unfortunately no success. The only thing that changed was the opacity, of course. :damn: The transparent object is only invisible where the main object is behind but in the line of view. Moving the winshield upwards the Y-axis results in proper display of all parts. The problem seems to be caused by the interference of the hull´s and windshield´s reflections.

SH3 engine:nope: .
Try to make a material of glass unilateral (1-sided), and object (glass) volumetric (with a cavity).
