Ship Recognition mod

Is there a mod available that tells us the class or name of the ships in the recognition manual, obviously its easy to work out what nationality the ship is but it would be nice to have a "class" name etc before we send them to the bottom of the sea.

Are you looking under Handelschiff(spelling maybe wrong). Merchant shipping is located there rather than in the individual countries.

As far as the Name of the ship goes, that's part of SH3 Cmdr. You'll find them in your Personnel File.

Which mod are you using? Because the stock game has the Recog Manual tell you the type. It is many realism and mega mods that remove the ship type name from the manual just so that it isn't automatically identified when you put the scope's crosshairs on it.
