At the end of the mission I was told that the crew had earned medals. Well, when I tried dragging the medals over to the crewman, it took 10 to 15 tries each to drag the medals over. Why?

Did you drag it over the crewmans picture in the sub, or over his specs in the bottom right of the screen.

Try over his specs, you'll see areas greyed out for all the medals, and when you drop it here, it will fill in.

Sometimes it just doesn't work. You need to drag it over a crewmen description (large rectangle in the botton right of the screen). When you click on a medal or promotion or qualifications, the member of your crew that can receave *it* will be surronded by blue. You then drag the medal to the description window. Bugs may appear, I have had situations when I had 26 U-boat badges to give out :cool: but after handing out only a hadnfull of them it just stopped working, saying I need to finish a patrol :o

Thank you for your response. I have played over 50 missions and have handed out many promotions and medals. I have had no problem with dragging the medal to WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO DRAG IT TO.

But that was in SH3, NOT TGW. TGW has a few problems.

I can honestly say i've never had a major problem with all awards in either stock or TGW or any other mod. Have you changed the res settings for SH3? Does the medal or award move at all when you try to drag it or does it just sit there?

I've had problems with the Uboat war badge sometimes and I find if I click and drag from the extreme lower left hand corner of the award I can move it.

That was the medal that I was trying to drag over. I had 8 to award and as I mentioned, I had to click and try to drag several times for each War Badge.
