I remember reading about a mod that would let you fiddle with top speeds and such, and the mod was used to make the hilarious video where the sub jumps out of the water at say 60 knots.

But I cant remember the name?

SH3 Mini-Tweaker

Edit - any file that you edit with this program will have a backup made of it, located in the filepath of the original. To activate your new settings move/delete the backup. I suggest moving as you can then copy back in and rename to get back to the default settings.

Remember if you do that, there is shallow water in the flow'.......

Hehe, it will be stupid, I can promise that.

By the way, how do I get the sub to climb fast? I got the speed now, doing 120 knots. (!)

But I cant get it to jump out of the water?

What speed are you doing submerged? Have you tried 'Blow Ballast'? And have you tried changing the mass of the boat?

There is also a setting in Mini-Tweaker for adjusting max/min elevation, I wonder if this could help.

Hey, ducimus, you teaser! :D Fill us in!

Oh ... and my sub now has 9000bhp and can do 120 knots submerged. Not bad.

I can make it jump, but not high like in the short movies I have seen.

Now I tried the inspector, and I lowered the displacement to 300. But now the boat topples over when it turns, and I have yet to leave port in one piece. :cry:

I really wish I could fire up SH3 and test things for you Stabiz but I'm right in the middle of writing a tutorial for someone.

Time is no problem. :up: This really annoys me, I usually fiddle around blindly and somehow get it right, but not this time.
