Ok, small problem with NYGM TW 2.2, as you can see from the attached pic my patrol tonnage is not being properly registered.

Yes i did read the bit in the ngym manual saying you need to play at 100% or you wont get 100% of the tonnage... but i AM at 100% realism and still get missing tonnage!

This has happened on every partol in my new career so far and i mostly ignored it, but this time theres around 2000 tons missing, thats almost a whole ships worth.

Both ships i sunk are listed as you can see, its just the overall patrol tonnage is off.
I should also say that they were both enemy (British) ships, i didnt sink a neutral by mistake which i presume wouldnt have been added to my tonnage total.

I dont think ive done anything silly that would have screwed my career, not been playing around with the cfg files or anything recently.

Any help with this is much appreciated as my career tonnage is low enough without me loosing 1000s of tons when i finish a patrol!

I run SH3 with the following- SH3 1.4b with NYGM2.2 / SH3commander 2.6

(Grumble grumble grumble... i really do like NYGM, honest, despite my occasional grumblings i think its pretty much the finest SH3 mod around.)

I think it must be a case of depreciation :rotfl:

Seriously, what were the 2 ships sunk?

Thank for the words of support

might be your sh3 commander....sh3 commander adjusts tonnage based on year...so it might be conflicting with what you would expect from the NYGM tonnage.......

RANDOM SHIP TONNAGE MOD
This mod is based on an analysis of merchant ships sunk, damaged or totalled from 3 September 1939 through to the end of the war. The results are randomised to provide a variation in ship tonnage during each patrol. The variations are limited in order to keep the tonnage as close to historical accuracy as possible, within the limitations of the Silent Hunter III engine.
All current tanker, cargo ship, passenger liner and transport tonnage is randomised. New ships can be added as required - see instructions outlined in 'Ship displacements.cfg', located in your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder. When using the Museum feature in Silent Hunter III you can get an idea of the new tonnage values for the different types of ships, but keep in mind the tonnage values will vary from month-to-month and year-to-year.
Random Tonnage Mod by Observer. Re-developed for SH3 Commander by Jaesen Jones with tweaks by Beery.

ahh, i had a suspicion it might be sh3cmdr adjusting the tonnage values. The ships sunk were a small merchant and one of the new ship types a large merchant.

Sorry, but you'll have to look elsewhere I'm afraid. ;)

NYGM comes with a version of Ship displacements.cfg which when correctly installed into SH3Cmdr "syncs" the renown and tonnage values so that both are the same.

The only discrepency then is caused by SH3 itself, where it will again randomise the tonnage by +/- 1 or 2 ton (but defintely not to the extreme that you are experiencing). But this evens out as sometimes SH3 randomises up, sometimes down.

Hmmm, did you sink a Neutral ship. BdU may have taken some renown from you for being a bad boy. I think if it was a bug from a mod, both Merchant Tonnage and Patrol Tonnage would have both show 8940.00 sunk.

this bug gets stranger, on my last patrol it actually increased my tonnage by around 200tons.
