If you did not win a Patrol or Special Commendation, do NOT
post in Sunday's contest. ONLY the Patrol winners and Special
Commendation winners can compete.

HOW IT WORKS:
At Noon CST (GMT -6); 1800 GMT February 27 Sunday, the
Patrol Log will burp up two more patrols; The Final Patrol and
the Special Commendation Patrol.
The Final Patrol: only
winners of regular patrols #1 through #13 may participate in this patrol. These
guys:
Patrol Winners:
McBeck, BobTuck, Sonarman, Tomcat84, irishred,
Abraham, Hitman, Farside, Marcantilan, Fischer, Grossi
(Captains who only won a Special Commendation should NOT post in the
Final Patrol (they should try for the
Special Commendation Patrol).
The Final Patrol will contain SEVEN questions or orders.
You only need to correctly answer one of these to get a win.
The important thing is you need to correctly answer one of these questions
before anyone else to win the Grand Prize. That's right, the
first person to post a correct answer to any one of the seven
questions wins the Grand Prize. Then the next captain to post a
correct answer to one of the other six questions is the
Runner-up Winner #2, and so on.
You are allowed to answer more than one question but you can only
win once (example: you cannot win Grand Prize and third prize with
two correct answers).

So, this is how you should strategize the Final Patrol: get ready
and watch the patrol log at noon CST/1800 GMT. When the Final Patrol
questions appear, read through quickly and look for one of the 7
questions you think you can answer quick and accurately! Post the
answer in the Final Patrol thread! Refresh the page, did you win??
Did someone answer the question before you? Quick, try to answer one
of the other questions for insurance. Is it going to be wild and
crazy? Of course, the Contest Judges need something to laugh about,
don't they?

There will be just one question, first man to answer correctly
wins the Special Commendation Prize Pack.
If you won a regular patrol (#1 - 13) and also won a
Special Commendation, you can participate in either or both the
Final Patrol or the Special Commendation patrol.

Contest process - how we got to the Final Round
The first player to post the correct answer in each patrol
is that Patrol Winner--he is entered into the Final Patrol (final
round). In addition to the Patrol
Winner of each patrol, a Special Commendation may be awarded to
answers that merit. This is completely optional by the Contest
Judges; some patrols may have two or three Special Commendation
winners, some may have none. Special Commendations may be handed out
for the player with the most complete answer, or a notably funny
answer (not a stupid one, take your hand off the mouse), or often
the last correct answer. All rulings and answer
interpretations by the Contest Judges are final. Once all thirteen of the regular patrols are
concluded, a date and time will be set for the Final Patrol and the
Special Commendation patrol, most likely a Sunday at 1800GMT. In the Final
Patrol, all Patrol Winners will get an
assignment and the top seven will win the prizes. At the same time, in the Special Commendation
patrol, all the Special Commendation winners will will get an
assignment and the top player will win the Special Commendation
prizes.
