ASW recordings & the sinking of I-52
I thought you SH3 skippers would be interested in this. It's a composite of sound recordings from the sinking of I-52, a large Japanese submarine heading for Lorient mid-atlantic in summer '44.

The above site is an excellent resource, the I-52 recordings had a thread dedicated to them here once but that was some time ago.
Good post

http://www.hnsa.org/sound/sealion/sealionfith3.mp3 At 2:37, you can hear the target pop, and at 2:40 someone saying, "Hot daaamnn!" |
