This is one of the most original mods I have ever seen
I wonder if a Minelayer could be made... (Anyone ever tried making Torpedoes with 0 speed?)

nice....i think this would challenge the most seasoned players.
doing re-supply and insertion missions with only a deck gun and a flak gun or two is difficult....and staying alive when zeros and the like are on your tail is even more difficult. and just wait till you have a sub on your tail! first one to get a kill with her gets a pat on the back ! and i guess there's no deck gun....could we have one?

Nice mod, really. if we only could create missions like "replenish subarine USS *submarine_name* (coordinates)".. maybe one day we will.. It's good to see how this game is getting better with all the mods this community is creating Good job boys, and THANKS! Andycaccia

Great job. Care to put together a tutorial on how you did this? I have some modelling skills and with the release of S3D, adding units seems a lot easier.

1500 tons ? no worth pay a torpedo for this ship, i will use my deck gun .
Great work !! and very nice screens, it´s nice have some new things in the sim, and expand the limits of gameplay. ps- the water in some pics is very real, are you using some mod ??

My only issue's that I have so far is that if that
1. Once your Battle station claxon starts sounding it never goes off, no matter what you do 2. when you take damage it never shows in your Crew management screen, so it is never fixed. 3. I can't fire my AA guns. |

It's the right ship to make lifeguard and replenishments. I always hear the sinking sound, but it's a nice background after all...on an old rusty tanker it's hard to have a silent cruise..
I did not notice the AA issue...my ones fired...the bow one for sure. And the damage...i have been bombed but nothing happened. My little floating tank stayed afloat. But, Mikhayl, what do you mean with "I didn't bother with the damage stuff"?? Are you sayng this ship has no damage model?

My first mission as an oiler skipper
Well on my first mission I was sent to insert a guy in on main land Japan!!
As you might reason this is a job for a sub But my crew was up to the task And of course as one can imagine, if you send an oiler to do a Subs job... The oiler will become a sub:hmm: So I thought you all might enjoy seeing my valiant crew at work After getting into the main harbor in Japan we are caught by a DD... he even stalks us for a while (as though he can't believe what his eyes are seeing) but then he opens up on us And then began Ramming us To the point that the old Orian gave in and began to sink... the crew stayed at their post gallantly calling out the dpth as we sank...:rotfl: Even as we reached the Bottom my valiant crew stood their Post Where they still stand to this day |
