Silent Hunter 4 time lapse showing weather and some battles with aircraft and ship convoys with various mod packs for graphics and sound.. Added a squad logo on conning tower, including my own sound mod posted at subsim.com forums called : "ALive-Action-Interior-Sound-Mod 1.0"

Adobe premiere 6.0 - editing and layout.
Took me over 12 hours to film and construct in Premiere.
Took me over 9 hours to upload to youtube with cable modem ~485k up speed average.
Was 1.91 gig before any compression.

I've tweaked my sounds until the point I don't know who what or where I got many from, combo of Pouls minus all the german voices and used many american voices. There are a few good US sub dive and periscope depth commands that work well.

Can't wait to tear into yours and see what I can pull from it. I know how hard it is to search for them all on the net to find the right ones.

I have one electric buzz that will probably have to go. Guy screams when he gets hit with 220, jump everytime it pops up.

For anyone who wishes to have their voice added into a mod, at some point, I want to combine a variety of good American voice actors to speak a few lines as crewmembers, while recording over teamspeak perhaps.. and then I can replace some of the slightly accented voices in my current mod.

Furthermore, these actors could benefit the project by bringing & presenting material that would be deemed authentic "internal-comms" being passed down the line, since I havent started a search for this kind of thing as of yet.
Anyone out there have a list of official American submariner commands and replies?

At Last...An ambient sound mod that doesn't drive me up the wall. In fact, this is the best ambience mod I've heard yet. Hat's off to you, you've done a superb job of hiding the loop, the background sounds are just right, so that you don't get sick of them in ten minutes. I'm sure I haven't heard everything yet but even the periscope sound (while very differant from stock) is not over-blown. And having the sounds makes the boat seem more alive and not so alone, if you know what I mean!

Are the sounds the man sipping coffee still on the mod? If so, I'll skip giving it a try. I found it too annoying. Others may not care.

It's kind of disorientating when I am lining up a shot with my torpedoes, waiting for the right AOB any second, hoping the escorts don't spot me, and... someone is behind me doing the dishes.
