Ahoy
Hey all. I want to say how excited I am to see an entire community of folks focused on submarine warfare sims. I got my start back in the 80's playing on my dad's old computer with a game called GATO... It had maybe 4 colors and everything was 8 bit wire frame. From there it was 688! and then later silent service II. Several years ago, I discovered silent hunter 4 and fell in love with hit. I just reinstalled it a few days ago to burn some time and noticed some bugs. This is the first time I have ever used the steam downloaded version and I guess it isn't the most updated version? Anyway, I went looking around online for answers and discovered an article by someone named Erik Pierce (I think that was his name) that directed me here. Now here I am looking for answers and happy to be in good company.
