Default U-995 photos, Laboe, Germany.

Here's a collection of my photos of U-995. It was blowing a gale outside,so appologies for some of the photos being on a bit of a slant!
Could not take more pics as I think half of Kiels population had chosen to shelter from the wind inside U-995 .

Please feel free to use the pics as you will. Hopefully our skillful modders can use them for something.

Moderators: Please feel free to move/redirect this post if I've not posted in the right place . Let me know if the link does not work.

Pictures are dedicated to the brave men of Subsim and to the crew of Subsim Copenhagen Meet 2009

Excellent pictures, I can't explain it but the details are captured pretty well. Some answered a few of my remaining questions, thank you.
Also the overall quality is really good, the camera of the iPhone 6 seems to be much better than I thought.

Great pictures Thanks for taking the time to post them. They are very detailed. U-995 seems to be in great shape despite being outdoors.

I really like the interior shots.

Yeah, there's plenty of things to see on that boat. It's weird to walk around something that you have seen so often in a computer game. It is all so familiar. It's amazing to come close up and see all the small details on the sub's components, for example the writing on the torpedo rails.
Thanks for your comments, Commander

Hehe, I know what you mean. I can't wait to find time to finally visit it. I have a weird kind of relationship to this boat now. 50% of the income of my little U-Boat-Compass App goes into preservation of U 995.
And all those weeks that I spent working in the 3D model of the interior for my game over the last years. Finally walking through it should be really weird because I will discover all my mistakes.
