You nae missed much this time

First mission was general transfer, Buffalos and Blennies for all. Hurris were on a airspace guarding mission so in order to get the first mission over and done with we skipped those. Oberon crashed on take-off, Hunter nearly did, no real idea what happened after that as I disconnected to make sure it was the plane that was useless and not the joystick.

Second mission was a spectacular raid on one of our airfields. Task force, Raptor, and Hunter took Blennies, Fin and Oberon and Kratos took Buffalos (They stole my Hurris!! )
Raptors aircraft decided to try and wrestle control from him and crash, and Task force relocated his aircraft around the airfield. Lick of paint here and there, some new wings, some wheels, some silver tape, it'll be fine!
Oberon followed Fin to the target, staring into the constant nuclear explosion that was the sun, although it did look a little like someone had pre-empted the Enola Gay.
The RAF airfield Hunter and Kratos were bombing was firing flak at something, and despite the Buffalos best attempts at finding out what that was, there was no sign of the enemy. Obviously the Japanese don't fly in the rain, although something must have been happening because when Sir Schultz started his 'Runway not clear' business, Oberon tuned into Tokyo Rose to listen to Schultz-san, who soon started up his own monologue.
Fin made it down alright, Kratos sounded like he might have slid off the side of the runway, the visibility was terrible so it was hard to see anything, let alone where you're supposed to land. With this in mind, Oberon just 109'd his Buffalo across the runway and left it to Task force to pick up with the other pieces of his Blenheim.

Sorry I couldn't be there. I had to wait for the wife to go before I did my stealth 2GB RAM insertion.

Now I have 2.5GB I loaded up IL-2 maxed out everything excepth clouds and scenery and it was great. Smooth as silk.

That extra RAM has to be the cheapest performance booster I have ever made.

Your wife is a RAMophobe?

Still kinda baffled as to why only the Sally is present in the campaign and not the Betty, they played a rather large part in the Battle of Singapore

Lmao Xabba

Usually people try to hide booze or pron mags from their wives, but I guess RAM might go to the same categroy sometimes. Good thing it worked

Oh, sure, having some some Betty's but not too many will make it both more historical and still keep the balance

When is the next flight, BTW?

If I've grown to know Hunter one bit, he's going to hop to TS at 21:45GMT, curse everyone from not showing up, come to this thread and say "Yes, we are flying Monday, Wednesday and prolly Friday, last night was just to kick the campaign rolling!". Then, he's gonna PM me "Yo, dude! How about some CC5?" and I'm like "naah, gonna go watch telly soon" (while in reality, I am trying to find good pron to wank to).
