Default onboard a kilo class submarine

Admitted, i honestly do not know if you guys have seen this before. But i really found this interesting, i for sure had never seen this.

But, this 2part film gives some view of life inside a russian type submarine. The Indian navy uses a Kilo type diesel electric.

Put all you romantic views aside, it is a tough environment.
It is so tight, even watching the movie made me feel like gasping for breath. It is much more tight than other russian submarines i've seen so far. I think even a dutch Walrus is more spacious.

Incredible view and it made me think about those young indian men working on those subs and how they are risking their lives.
Respect!

Looking at how one of the presentors is getting into a rescue suit is claustrophic to say the least.
When mentioning that every submariner has to put it on alone, i made my hopes fly.
One will have little time and little chance for survival, but that is just my guess.

There is one big advantage about being a submariner ; You will not likely come home missing an arm or in a wheelchair.
You either die, or make it home in one piece.
