If Vbulletin's got a forum with a plugin/addon section, I'd check there first.

That's the help you could provide, do the leg work!

You got it at some point, when I posted the photo from the Continuation War thread, it showed up as it was (downscaled), but when I clicked it, it opened it up in new window showing the whole photo. So go back to the defaults?

I really am no website wizard, I am familiar with ProBoards, but that is different from Vbulletin.

What are the defaults...?

It seems like it lightboxes the oversize images to the max specified (800 wide), and clicking on the image brings up the new image, but it is not the full size image linked to...

Default settings would be the ones you had when you applied the plugin.

I really can't help much in regards to vbulletin, with ProBoards it was just a matter of installing the plugin and changing the resize settings.

I suppose you got the plugin from somewhere? Read the thread (I assume there is one for it) to learn how it ticks.

If it gets too cumbersome, then just ditch it. It's not a life & death issues after all.

Very nice, both on the strikethrough and the image resizing. I have a request. On just about every forum in the known universe you can post You Tube videos as part of the post, displayed in the post:

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...postcount=9058

That's a good example. Here's another vBulletin board which allows posting inline You Tube videos.

http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/show...20&postcount=7

Maybe this post from the vBulletin site would help:

hi Steve,

I've always declined to add a Youtube code, it makes the posts too "busy" in my opinion. Just from the number of gifs and jpgs people use in their posts (me included), I imagine a thread with 30 youtube videos would bog down the whole act of scrolling down and reading a thread. Of course, you may say, "Yeah, but how is that any different than a thread with 30 links to youtube vidoes, except that in that case, the links direct the reader to addtiional pages." And you are correct, that would.

But, since you did the legwork, I will see what I can do to set it up and give it a trial run.

Neal
