Default PT Boat Bug?

I've noticed this everytime I run across Pt Boats in Sh5, no matter where they are. They don't move and go anyplace or attack, they just sit and burn. Is this a bug and is it fixable. Not that it really matters as they don't do anything.

I second that, but mine are moving and chasing ennemies.
But they are very often burning!

On side note, i can't hear them with my hydrophone, nor the little fishing boats
Normal?

Not sure what's going on but now the PT boats are not burning, and they are running around on patrol as they should be in Scapa Flow.

All I've done is add the Change Days in the Bunker mod and Stoiamn's Brighter Nights v1 mod (high) compatible realistic color high mod . Nothing else but these two mods. Strange, but I'm not complaining.

They are so fast, maybe they collide something before we see them, and they are burning

No, they were single PT boats all by themselves. It just seems good to have them working as the should be now.

Yep, burning PT boats are a common sight. Otherwise they work alright for me, I think I can hear them also in hydro (Must check! Coastal and fishing boat are undetectable in hydro for a reason).

I remember that somebody had a theory about the burning boats. It was something like that stormy seas cause damage to them, just a bit but enough to set them on fire. But it's weird that fishing boats never do this... I think it could be fixable issue.

Do these patrol torpedo boats actually use their torpedoes?
Because I have only seen them use their anti air guns, they do make good long range target practice with the Flak though.

V, all the ones I'm seeing have no guns.... torpedos only. This one is in Scapa Flow. Photo taken last night in 'Breaking the Fortress' mission.

V, I can't see any in mine tho I can in yours. I concede you are again correct. Next time I encounter one I'll have to get a closer screenshot.

While playing this afternoon I was jumped by one outside of Scapa Flow and it was shooting at our sub. Did some damage too before we finished it off. I found that flak guns will not sink a SH5 PT Boat, but it looked like the crew was killed as their gun fire stopped. I jumped to the deckgun and was able to blow it up, tho it did not sink. It just as there and burned, but credit was given for the kill.... 35 tons.

Did you say that the Submarines Flak guns do no damage to the PT boat? Because I only use my use my Flaks on them. Once the catch fire, the tend to stop, and then after a long while they sink, even from flak guns.
