I might add. Some people told me theres merchants off the coat of the phillipines that tend to sail unescorted. You could start there until you get the hang of it (targeting and stuff). Then maybe try attack a convoy and if you are detected just save. Reload as much as you need and practice your hide n seek.

One more!

If you are being pursued while underwater. If you are forced to go flank to avoid deapth charges don't waste the momentum. Cut engines and use it to drift away silently.

Good point. My use of daylight submerged refers to remaining in thr shipping lanes amongst heavy traffic and picking targets as they pass.

When you see aircraft on screen, I recommend submerging. Aircraft have the advantage.....
