A note for the map makers in SH4. Since its birth 7 years ago, New Guinea has been spelt with two 'e's. It's bugged me ever since!!

There are a lot of little mistakes, there is an empty atoll somewhere in the eastern Caroline islands which is thousands of feet high, obviously a mistake, but still funny to see that white tower rising from the sea to the heavens.

Maybe COMSUBPAC has a radar station up there. That would explain the uncanny accuracy of our map-contacts updates.

I just started playing SH4 again. I actually started the same career where I left off (What, a year ago?). Now, I'm in the middle of Kurita's Center Force with my thumb up my keister, trying to learn how to shoot straight again.

I'm currently playing OM as a Type II-B skipper. It's pretty easy (Still 1939) since most of the merchants are without escorts and my biggest problem is saving enough fuel for home trip and sinking ships since I only have 5 torpedoes. I hope that once the happy times start I will be able to transfer to Type VII based in Norway or France.

TMO 2.5/RSRDC v5, plus a few other minor mods. I can't seem to hit a dinghy right now. I used to sink anything I put my sights on.

I am!

Have been fascinated by Sub Sims all my life and purchased several over the years, but never got around to wrapping my head around the mechanics and usually fell in between being bored by the auto-targeting and not succeeding in grasping the manual targeting in time before getting fed up with it.

Now I am a little older and I did try again and wow, I love this stuff. I look like a madman with my scribble book, headphones on and yelling commands into the microphone and I love every minute of it.

Still getting in some experience in SH4 vanilla, but I probably will be starting using mods in a short while.
