Fired my 2 stern homing torpedoes. It listens to the engines of ships.
I followed my 2 torps on the attack map and i saw them makinq a circle ( target was in front of me) and i was like OMG !! I raised my observation scope and looked behind me and those torps were comming for me !! Quickly managed to turn of my engines and they barrely missed me. It sank a ship though

Why are you going around the Cape? I would take the Med and chance the Rock of Gibraltar.

........ !!!
ok now what did I just stumble into here?
I have been playing SH3 for years and *tried* SH4 when it came out stupid me thinking COOL they (Kept) the U-Boat related Axis vs Allied map campaigns and simply updated the engine & graphics & all the jap related crap to the bottom of the map as an optional coreer then after playing the game after 10 mins I realized that I hated it uninstalled it and been playing sh3 ever since.. even though the graphics are far better simply put I cant stand the war in the south pacific its boring and lame. then one day I thought why dont I just simply move all the sh3 models & textures into sh4... nah too much work then decided well maybe if I post something about it maybe someone else with more know how, skill & time on their hands may like this idea and go with it.. so about a week or so ago stumbled back into the forums and noticed the GWX 4 and almost pissed myself from excitement then realized its a work in progress & nothing to download.. wiped the tear off my cheek then stumbled into here and started seeing all the amazing U-boat pictures!!! only one question!! @ SAILOR STEVE WHERES THE DOWNLOAD LINK???? |

Brand new campaign, Uboat Missions - Patrol 1 (So far)
Ordered to deliver supplies to Bangkok we head out to sea And after an uneventful journey, we arrive. The weather was rather horrible, however. We launched the boat, and headed upon our merry way After we left Bangkok, instead of the typical "Do whatever you want....just please god stop calling us." Message I usually get from Command, they instead sent me a patrol sector and a demand of 5000 tons Once again the journey was mostly uneventful (minus a scout plane, he ignored us though.) After arriving to our new patrol sector, we dive and begin to engage hunting operations. After three stress-filled days of searching with no results. We finally get something on the sonar, it was pitch black and hard to see, but eventually a lone merchant emerged from the darkness Not wanting to waste my precious torpedoes on a single undefended vessel, I opted instead for a more direct method of attack. And of course it was not long before..... First kill of the patrol, add 6000 tons to the log book. On a final note, there was a single lifeboat in the water, but nobody aboard her, all crew members assumed lost. Despite having filled our quota, we will patrol here for a couple more days to see if we have any more luck, if not we will request new orders from command and move on.
