Yeah, a mod needs to add a question mark to the end of that subject line.

I would rather UBI take longer and fix any bugs with more beta testing .

Is it something with this board that makes people post deceptive thread titles that make it sound like some great leap of progress has been released?

I can see it now... The Radio Room Taint...

Nah, nowadays "gone gold" means either "playable, about half-way done, and thus ready for release", or "to be released due to time constraints".

It's been a long time since "gone gold" meant "finished".

Default I have Now Pre ordered SH IV

Regardless of saving a buck here or a buck there I decided to pre order SHIV from Gogamer.
The reson being is that I had gotten really the best, in terms of service when I ordered IL-2 1946.
I ordered online on a Wedesday evening late at night, and received delivery the following Monday in the AM.
From the info they sent me, they told me that it will be in stock on or around the 7th of March, but did let me know there were no guarentees that they would be able to mail it out that day. They said as soon as it was in their hot little mitts they would send it.No complaints about that.

The first 25,000 that buy SH4 are the beta testers.

I await your sorting it all out before I buy SH4!!

I said that about 1946 and waited.I dont think it made much difference.
What did make a real difference was loading the newest Greywolves update.
"Oh Man"! Almost every mission it was all I could do to get back to Lorient in one piece with a couple more notches on my scope.
I'm most certainly not going retire SHIII. Really am enjoying it.
