Default A question on the sky

does anyone know any good water and sky renders that is cheap as im back to unemployed,also some good info and pics of motor torpedos boats,i did find one site with veterns of the us pt boats and email them hope to hear from them.

I unfortunately don't, but what are your plans?

And do you need renders, or like skybox images?

right now i like to do it with the renders and avoid the skybox,my plans is to do the American pt boats,english and the german s-boat so you can pick the side you want to play,the game engine i got is tge

sorry chad for not getting back to you sooner,i finaly remember the program that i check out 2 years ago which was terragen but with the free terragen 2 its non commerical and you can only render size of 800x600

i have decide to go with the skydome but way i understand from reading the tge forums over there is it only does skyboxes unless it just cause of this killer migrain i have

Try www.cgtextures.com. They have skies in 360 dome format and cubemap format. There are also free tools like ATI cubemap tools to generate textures for skyboxes from photos.
