another remark:

your mod list features Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V8 by sober, but not Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 itself. At first, I thought that your "available by date version" of patch 1 included all the files contained in the "regular version" of the patch (the one by TheBeast himself), but it isn't so.

I am not saying tha you are doing something wrong. I just wish to know if you have any special reason for not featuring the complete patch

Hi, I've never played SH5 and I'm trying to get this supermod running. I've got all of the mods installed but I am unsure what to do with TDW_GenericPatcher_v_1_0_74_0. I downloaded it and I made a folder so that I could add it to my mod list. Is there anything else I need to do with it? I understand it is some sort of application but I am overwhelmed with how complex this is. I have the .mep enabling everything without aborting now but I'm not sure if I should proceed with the tweaks or if I am missing something crucial.

Also, can I do all of the modding before starting the campaign?

Edit: I have the Amazon Gold Edition download, FWIW.

Thanks! I appreciate the work you've put into this. I understand I should do this before anything else, correct? i.e. I should disable all my mods, do the steps in the link you posted, and then follow Sober's instructions? Thanks again!

How important is this step? I cannot get the OptionsFileEditorViewer to work no matter what I try. I'm not sure if it's because I'm using an Amazon download version of the game or not.

In NewUIs_TDC_*_*_*_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Applications , double clic on the fileviewer application icon, and clic file up left.
Set the right path to your SH5 folder (usually C:/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 5) and right path to the menu text (C:/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 5/MODS/NewUIs TDC ByTheDarkWraith/data/menu/menu.txt).
Then clic Open... and find your NewUIs TDC ByTheDarkWraith/data/scrript/menu/TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py, and open it.
The application will build all the different tabs
Once changes made, save it by clicking the red cross and reactivate the New UIs!

Other important thing to do about time compression, is to set your Documents/SH5/data/Cfg/main as Sober told us in his thread!

Hi guys, I need some help on a bug I have with this two tools.

I have install sobers megamod and runs perfectly well with the exception of the protractor and ruler. When you try to use both of them and you left click your mouse to fix the first point, the point was marked in another place, far away from the center of this tools.

The compass is working well.

Do you know a fix for this ?.

is there anything in these mods that causes depth charge explosions to temporarily impead the escorts hydrophones, so you can increase speed for a short sprint till the water calms down?

does the "critical hits" mod conflict with anything on this list, or is it even still necessary?

Default Hard to Find Enemies

Is there anything in this mod package that makes ships appear less frequently? I am having trouble finding enemy or even friendly ships. After several (real) hours of patrol, I was finally able to locate one small cargo ship with the hydro. I understand this is a sim but I have very limited time to play the game and would like to do more than just cruise around doing fruitless hydro checks every couple hours.

I haven't played the vanilla version of the game so I'm not sure if this is just how SH5 is or if the mods have somehow affected the frequency of encountering other vessels.
