Hi Christian and welcome to the forum - the best one you'll ever find on the internet!

To me it sounds like you're starting your SH5 by clicking either;

- the sh5.exe file (C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5) or
- the shortcut on your desktop

If this is correct you should download the UPlay Launcher, here; http://uplay.ubi.com/

Try this and get back if this wouldn't help

Hi Silent Steel, thanks for your help. I'm afraid I have bad news. I installed Uplay launcher and hitting "play" button it changes his colour like it received the command, but nothing happens. And nothing with both the game's icons too (on desk and the app in game's folder). Again thanks for reading.

Well, if you hit the SH5 icon - does the UPlay launcher open up?

No, if I hit the desktop icon or the app in the Ubisoft folder nothing happens. Just for a few seconds I see the mouse cursor with the blue circle like it was launching the program but nothing appears on screen.

Hi can someone write what is the problem and how can I repair it.
When ship is exploding I mean spectacular explosions, the game is freeze when I close up to ship.
Task manager show sh5.exe no response ... the same is with the acceleration of time when the ship is burning at the close-up the game freezes.
Ship exploding is divided into two parts and the game freezes.

If you use NewUIs you can not sink German ships.. this is treason.. never do it again.. and don't tell it anyone else
