MSgalileo, wow, I wish American women were like your friend. I would be glad to go get the groceries for a woman who kept her Suzuki in the house.

She is French and Canadian and she lives in Edmonton.
She store the Suzuki in the house just to preserve it from the low temperature (-15/-20°C) during the winter and because if she had to pay for a stroage at the Suzuki dealer the price is too high for the service.

Today i exchanged my beloved Kawasaki -which has been with me for almost 12 years- for this baby ...
a Suzuki GSXR-1300. I was unsure if i should get another sportsbike or something more comfortable. After a 2.5 hr test ride however i was amazed how easy to drive and relaxing this bike is ... except during a very short sprint on the Autobahn where she showed just a bit of her potential . I will remember my old Ninja forever though (the red one in the background). I hope she will serve her new owner as good a me. |

Ooooh! The Mighty Busa, nice!!! Wish I lived near you.
Wow, I saw the title of this thread and my name, and thought "what have I done now?" Thankfully, it's aboot MCs. Four years and 47,000 miles later and I'm still smitten. Rode 250 miles today for BBQ. |

Thanks a lot Neal! It is nice to see that you use your V-Strom for what it was made -> Touring .
47000 miles in for years is an really a feat ... i drove half of that in 12 years. The Busa is the same age as your bike i think (2008?) and has only ~3600 miles on it. Its owner was an older guy who exchanged her for the exact opposite - a VN800 Chopper. I hope that my Suzuki is as reliable as yours, sadly i have to wait 2 weeks now before i can pick her up. Quote:

You can't be serious neal!
Give her up before it's too late ... All Ms Suzuki wants is your gas money, toll booth money, DMV money, insurance money and that's just the start of a bad relationship. Give her up it's not too late
