Loaded up the Barnham mission. After hitting the leading battlewagon, figured I'd see how the escorts did so I left my scope fully up.
All eight literally starting doing circles around me.........and with their fire at my scope, sunk three of their own eight escorts, in addition to inflicting more damage on the boat I hit as it went by !
Not a bad days work for the u-boat. I also stayed at scope depth with it still up, only ever suffered minor damage.
1941 British depth charges suck; pretty much harmless.
