In my GWX 2.1 install, it works like a charm. No weird effects and it is a big immersion factor. Now it really feels like diving and rising. Thanks alot Vickers.

Hi,

but what about the fact I posted earlier, how this bug is reproducable?

Once you click on the CE, the camera gets messed up, and stays that way until you restart, so I think maybe it has to do with the camera-angle when zoomed-in on him...

(this bug is reproducable)

Also, maybe the angles are a bit too steep, as, when I surfaced, the camera clipped through the forward periscope in the type VII...

Please continue your great work!

The bug may have occured for me since i was changing cameras from fore/aft control room and into the RR to test the mod, ive found that if i stay in one spot and dont jump around the boat like a crazy person, everything works perfectly, so i guess it was me that failed and not the mod

++ Oddly i dont get any problems when clicking on the cheif as was mentioned by another poster.

It seems to work fine in the VIIC. I tried it out in a new career & the only (slightly odd) thing that I noticed is that when in a dive, if I clicked on the CE, I physically "crashed through" the observation periscope! Otherwise everything looked great. The control room levelled off when we reached the depth that I'd ordered. It's a great mod. I can live with the oddity that I mentioned above. Does the mod also affect the radio room/sonar shack/captain's cabin or was I just imagining things (I hope not as I'm only 44 & I'm not ready for senile dementia just yet. ).

thanks for your observation, please let me know what
version you are using and if you have a modded cameras.dat:hmm:
as for the angles, they should represent the real diving angle as seen in exterior view.

The small note:
I have made AnvartsType2_CR.7z mod on October, 4th 2006.
In readme:

This mod simulates an inclination (or roll for interior) of a submarine at diving and surfacing for cameras:

InteriorAftView, NavigatorView, WeaponOffView and HelsmanView.

This silution has been tested in August 2006.


P.S. AnvartsType2_CR.7z file has been removed many times from my FileFront page ... by FileFront ...

ok ok, it's two years now
so look what i've done to your work, i screwed up!
just kidding
i didn't include your command room, just the .sim file
and made the adjustments for all other boats.
it seems that sometimes the angles get wrong again
and stays that way.
what again was the solution for it?
