I assume you mean as targets? If so, they are out there.

They are featured in TMO v2.5. I sank one southeast of Tokyo Bay last night. I believe it was in January, '43.

TMO v2.5

One of the best mega mods for SH4. It works only with SH4 v1.5. Follow the link above and see for yourself.

Use the JSGME installer like you would any mod. Install TMO v2.5 as the first mod, then whatever compatible mods you choose after that. TMO will come up instead of the SH4 1.5. Experiment. You will like it (or not).

Well thanks to all for this information. I'm very new to upgrading and the like, so this will be a challenge!

Be warned: TMO is also a challenge in itself. It makes escorts harder to evade and modifies a bunch of other files to make things more "hazardous to your health"! It is a great mod though.

I'm up for that. I have always played at full realism to make it more of a challenge. I like sinking the escorts first....

Ah, that's right! I remember that conversation from last month. I guess I'm just not aggressive enough to take that gamble!

This mission has been filled with fishing boats. So few targets!

I might add. Since I play it since a few day. Expected to FEAR the escorts now. Imagine the worst scenario you ever seen in your regular campaign and you are certainly not even close. In my case, they tore me a new one. Turned it inside out and played banjo with the hair. It reminds me of my first game in falcon bms full realism. I kept getting shot out of the sky and I didn't even had the opportunity to be aware of the missile until it entered switched into hard-lock and my Threat display going haywire with bitching betty in the background then BOOM. And a long moment of asking myself... What the hell just happened?
