Default Save Game Issue

I want to play a fresh campaign each time and it seems the software is looking for a saved session and since I deleted all the same games, it won't let me proceed to start a fresh session.

How do I turn off the software's desire to look for a saved game? I just hit start, but it seems to lock-up in a search for a saved game.

I imagine it is a setting, I just don't know where.

Thanks

Is this post helpful? Seems related, but I have no idea.

The only mod I have is the North Atlantic 2004. I really don't think it is a conflict issue.

A thought on the mod activity as whole. KFG is doing great with the base product, amazingly great for such a short time, but the modders have to mesh in seamlessly. AND, it should be expected that each player will want to have multiple mods. Somehow the Override folder has to mesh each time a new mod is introduced. Anyway, just going off on a tangent...

My issue seems to be that I saved games in each campaign, deleted them so I could have fresh play, but the software is locked-up looking for a saved file.

Thanks, though, for the link Pv.

Don't forget you have a restore deleted feature in Windows. This is one of those times when utilities and habits to erase trash immediately while games are still young and under development is not a good one. Disk space now days is not as critical a factor on 8G+ 64 bit systems.

Fixed it by just deleting the program and then the CW folder. Reloaded and happy.

On another note, lately when I go to Steam outside of the CW program I pick up a "kovter.A!lnk" file that my computer says is a virus. It doesn't when I am in game, though.

Just thought to mention.

Cheers
