Default Mediterranean Aces

When you gentlemen have perfected the pacific version would it be possible for a game based on a british s or t-boat to be written. The allies in the med used a lot of british built boats and this area has been sadly overlooked.

Shouldn't be too hard to do. There was a human controlled British S-boat that was fun to play. Unfortunately I think everyone's interest is on SH3 now.

Yup something like that was planned long ago, but finally the team dispersed and moved to various other projects (Some still on the way) when SH3 came. Such is life

There were some bits and piece left over from the Med project that HM refers to :-

Download British Upholder Sub, British periscope and a “turkey shoot mission”

PACG ( Pacific Aces Campaign Generator) is moddable to any submarine theatre if you have the time and patience to add the extra models and data .

Additionally there is a Mare Nostrum Mod which is “nearly completed”. It’s an Italian Med version of DC. I’m not sure if it includes any submarine mods.
There is some news and discussion on this link . There may be a link somewhere directly to their samples page.

There's an installation sequence in the readme. PA was actually very stable. Usually problems were traced to incorrect installation or a problem with a video card . Some video cards may have problems with the Kollmorgen periscope. Try the standard scope ( options in the installer)

I have to confess we can provide very little support now. As HM says we've all more or less dispersed - and got very rusty on the issue of incompatibilities.

If you're having problems post up your installation sequence here, with any error messages that appear, and we might be able to spot something .
