Sorry for my late reply, but I had difficulties getting subsim pages yesterday.
I've dived into my archives and found a copy of the mentioned game. I stand corrected. There is indeed a kind of Morse used, but only when you send out your current position to HQ. However the mission commands are just a simple page (pressing <alt>+m key). I apologize for the confusion.
