Used to have a very small diecast Javelin back when I was a nipper. Nice looking aircraft if modelled well.

Ouch. Yeah she does look rather clunky doesn't she? Gaps in the wrong places too, however there's not many Javelins on the market IIRC so even if her quality doesn't match the others in the collection she will be filling a hole in the British Cold War collection.

If I were ever to build me a Diecast Collection would consist of Battleships (BB) from WWII and modern American F-jet aircraft, such as F4, F5, etc up to F35

I reckon you've hit the nail on the head...she is the only show in town and fills a gap in Brit aviation that Corgi should have filled long ago.

The other problem being the same company are well overdue on the Sea Vixen as well and I have seen a few shots of her and she doesn't look much better.

I pre-ordered that at the same time as the Javelin

Well there are a great many examples out there...I've seen a couple of collections that exceed 500 examples in number

I've seen beautiful specimens of Diecast models of F-planes, have not yet seen any BB as Diecast models

But if you or someone else have a link to a hobby that sell those, then please post it.

My die-cast collection is somewhat overshadowed by the other halfs collection of 'Zoids' which are plastic motorised model kits, originally aimed at the younger market they're quite a cult thing now and some of the more recent ones known as 'HMM' are quite expensive and damn complex to put together. Trust me, I know, I've had to try and rebuild one after knocking it off the shelf...thankfully I managed it and my execution was postponed.
Snag is, we've run out of shelf space so they're everywhere now...it's like some kind of invasion has overrun our bedroom. Still, they are fun little things, I'm kind of attached to the Command Wolves, and it was the other half who encouraged me to collect my models so I can't complain

As you can see, it kinda expands, and grows XD You can just make out my Sopwith Pup on my aircraft shelf. This is an old photo though, I have since negotiated for that shelf for my growing collection.

I need a bigger bedroom...
