New blood

Hi everyone,

I've played silent hunter 3 & 4 a few years ago but never really knew about this site back then, I have silent hunter 4 & 5 now but no mods on either mainly due to not knowing which one to get and which one to play first (Only just purchased another PC)

I've had a look around and it seems a very good set up so well done to everyone involved in the site. I'm hoping that you old sea dogs will be able to teach me a few things and guide me in the right direction when needed and be the helpful bunch you seem.

I'm not exactly a computer whizz so modding games is very new and looks awfully confusing from what I've read, Unzipping files putting it in another file is like showing a caveman how to make fire, but hopefully I will pick it up and get the versions I have running smoothly
