http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08168b.htm On this latest overhead view of the Narwhal class Nautilus, the guns deck appear circular, unlike the drawing/blueprint I used... anyone got his hands on a RL Blueprint for this boat ? do all boats in the class have the same deck ? The slanted ealier picture I used can't show if the deck is round or pointed.. Nautilus : Narwhal : http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/08167a.htm If rounded I'll just revert to the earlier version I made, thus losing +- 8 hours of work... keltos Last edited by keltos01; 07-21-09 at 12:37 PM. |

LOL I warned you
The more pictures you look at, the more variations you will see. Apparently not even the two boats in the class -Narwhal and Nautilus- had the same platform, nor did they have it unaltered during the war and when compared to their prewar configuration As I said already - Make it round (Which is reasonably good) and forget the super-detail, a round platform will look like an oval from an angled view anyway, and that is also the problem with most of those pictures. PD: The platform centre is round, it's the stretching to the deck backwards what makes it look oval.
