Book like dangerous grounds
Hi,
I've read Dangerous Grounds and liked it very much. Can someone recommend me a similar (realistic) novel about modern submarines (or modern naval operations in general). Don't like unrealistic books. Is Silent Service:Ohio good? Thanks a lot ! |

I've read two of the four Silent Service books and enjoyed both of them.
Check out P. T. Deutermann's Scorpion in the Sea, (I really recomend this one) and The Edge of Honor. They are based on surface ships, although Scorpion does feature a submarine as the bad guy. |

I've just finished reading Alfred McLaren's "Unknown Waters: A First Hand Account of the Historic Under-Ice Survey of the Siberian Continental Shelf by USS Queenfish (SSN-651)". It's not a novel, but it's definitely 100% realistic |
