Nothing unusual.

I know people with no licence or car that have got fines.

It's usualy sorted out with a photo sent to the police.

I know of a person who was on the operating table at the time of the alleged 105mph down the motorway and the police did not budge for some time, I think it took the intervention of a higher ranking officer to clear up the matter.

I got done for speeding 600+ miles from my house when I had a motorbike but no licence.
A quick photo of my bike cleared it up in no time.

In the early 80's, the Ripper Squad visited my parents house stating my car had been sighted in Leeds just an hour earlier.
She told them who and what I was and the fact that I was at work and had been for the past 6 hours.
Rather than make a quick telephone call they travelled the 14 miles to my nick to check out her story.
Boy...did the guys give me some stick for weeks after that

I once had the misfortune to have an email address with 'wonderland' in it, I chose it because my name is Al, as in: 'Al is in wonderland'. Misfortune in that just a few streets away from me, a peadophile ring named 'the wonderland club' was uncovered. Shortly after that, there were numerous attempts to hack my system, and it was apparent that there was some kind of investigation attempt going on on, trawling through my hard drive. It was annoying, but amusing too, as they would have had no luck trying to find anything of that nature on my computer - I've never even been to a legal porn site on the net, let alone something that despicable. I could just imagine some poor investigator wading through all my PC files thinking: 'What the feck is all this submarine and aeroplane sh*t? God this guy's a dull b*stard.':rotfl:
