OH II 2.5 - Cannot See Grid References
Let me elaborate - at closer magnifications on the maps, I cannot see area designations beyond the first two digits. IE: Patrol orders tell me to go to grid reference AM3657. On the map, I can zoom in and find AM36, but any further in and the grid markers vanish.
Is there an option or setting I've missed somewhere? I remember that this used to be visible at some point.

Kriegsmarine grid tool...
Your map is displaying properly. You just need to use the grid tool to home in on your patrol area.
To use the grid tool, zoom in your map until the scale is 90km. Then display the grid tool, and stretch it to fit the assigned area. In your case you would stretch it to fit the AM36 area. When the grid tool is adjusted to fit that zone, then you would look for grid 50 on the tool, and then area 7 of that grid. It took me a while to figure it out too. Happy hunting! |
