Just been using your 3.1 water mod every thing was ok until night time now have this problem………my watch officer says he is not going up on the conning tower until I get some of those nice teddy bear night lights fitted because its too scary up there.

The night water is a great improvement I have already given you 10/10 so now it must be 20/10

Finally got some bad weather. Well I lost 5 FPS on the average. It was a little stressful on my system at times.

I have to say it looks very good. I can't wait to test this on my new rig.

Funny... :hmm:

In my rig the water is looking much better then that...
Do you have enabled "digital vibrance" in your video card settings? I recommend you enable 50% of it.

I did now. I never touched those settings before.. I never felt the need to.. But it seems to make a difference going to try it out thanks.

I've put 20% seems to be nicer.. 50% is too much and too strong. Anyhow Thanks.

No problem, glad to help!

Those settings give some "warmth" to the screen. I love it!

Has anyone else experienced "broken waves" under water? I tried this mod out today, and was getting some really funky effects underwater. The surface waves didn't fully render while the camera was under water. It was constantly shifting depending on which direction I was facing. Sometimes filling the whole view, but often not even filling half of it, even around my sub.

You can see the effect in this picture. On the top image the surface waves only cover the stern half of the boat while just behind the conning tower and forward you can see the boat that's above the waves!

The bottom image is the same effect, only from this angle the surface waves didn't even reach the boat. I'm on the surface in that lower picture...

Edit: Yup, using v3.1.

Did you enabled V3.1 on top of the latest version of OLCE2?

Hi Philipp,

Just wondering - ran into this really odd wave effect in 15 m/s winds, and I'm wondering if it's just the setting of the mod itself, or perhaps simply Commander's "seasonal wave height" settings are messing it up...

Makes these really weird-looking blobby-peak waves, take a look at this:

I'll just try and disable Commander's seasonal wave settings, but just to check - have you ever run into this?

Hello CCIP!

As I wrote in the first page of this thread, in big letters, highlighted, bold, underlined and in attractive colour, FOR SH3 COMMANDER USERS, PLEASE UNCHECK THE "SET WAVE HEIGHT" BOX IN SH3 COMMANDER OPTIONS".
