With as many bugs and glitches this sim has, it'll take more...a LOT more...than just one more patch. SH3 had fewer glitches and problems, and it took FOUR patches to make it halfway playable. And just like SH4, the modders have had to do Ubisoft's work for them. The modders do the work of the developers, and the developers get the large paychecks. (Those who do not learn from the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it)

A third patch is the bare minimum for the game to function as advertized.

If the game is to be what it could be, such a patch will also require some work above and beyond the substantial work required to make it functional.

Yes, UbiSoft needs to come out with at least one more patch.

- Chronometer: regardless of whether it is a must have or not, it doesn't work as described in the manual so it needs fixing
- Radar: annoying that it doesn't work and that air radar also picks up ships
- Some graphical glitches still exist in the game
- AI sometimes shows that the 'I' in 'AI' is not present.

So, don't let my €44 go to waist and please bring out the patch.

SH4 is a seriously broken game. Without the mods, it would be all but unplayable as intended.

UBI either needs to STEP UP and fix it, or STEP AWAY and release the development tools (SDK?) to the community.

I don't have SHIV and in its current state do not plan on getting it. However, if Ubi can fix the most problematic bugs listed and finish the game right, I will get it. So, yes, I am in full support of a patch 1.3.

Have played every Silent Hunter. Totally agree with Neal. This game not finished, needs to be fixed
