Collecting diecast cars

I've collected a few over the years, mainly NASCAR types from older seasons. Now I am looking to get some LeMans types from the 1960's and 70's. Was looking for a Porsche 917 when I came across this one!

Just might be a little out of my league at $9,355. I did get one though (on the way ATM) but roughly $8,970 cheaper!! I couldn't justify $9,000 for a toy, no matter how much I tried. Unbelievable someone would pay that much for it.

Maybe I should collect aircraft like Jim does, looks a lot cheaper!
