Well I certainly agree with Martin Lewis when he advises "Don't bitch, switch".

I think its a dam cheek that any bank would state that guff and if I ever faced that situation I would say...Oh you have no issue with the paper I.O.U that is technically worthless as its not money but you have a issue with coins that is money.

I have used the coin machine in my local supermarket but you have to give some of your money to charity which is a bit of a cheek just to exchange a load of coins for notes. I try to use mu loose change on the bus but its a 50/50 situation some drivers thank you and don't mind adding up the money while others get the grumps or reject it.

Cash is no longer accepted on London buses mate, fortunately for myself I'm that wizened that I have an old gits pass . But with card reading scams and such it makes you wonder how long before card readers on buses will be compromised.

As for banks........... well just look how much they charge now for overdrafts. A fellow worker is getting deeper in the manure because Lloyds are charging him a phenomenal rate because he is overdrawn, so much so it plunges him deeper into the red.

Greedy bankers syndrome yet again

Ooh yes I forgot... Currently I am sipping a can of ice cold cider, plotting ways I could convince pansy May to fire that idiotic, hot air blowing, lying, narcissistic waste of space Hunt. Hmmm any helpers?

I'm not making this stuff up ...

Banks rejoice as consumers take on more debt

While borrowing costs are increasing, consumer debt is skyrocketing. The Federal Reserve just announced that consumer credit card balances rose 13% in November to a new all-time high of more than $1 trillion.

I suppose I'm fortunate in using public transport only rarely but if and when I reach 66 years of age a bus pass may well encourage more use.

Do you have to have one every time you go somewhere?

I thought you already had one when you went to the Canary Islands

pass·port

an official document issued by a government, certifying the holder's identity and citizenship and entitling them to travel under its protection to and from foreign countries.

My previous passport expired/expires 18th of this month.

A full UK passport has a lifetime period of ten years but you are able to renew anytime up to six months prior to the expiry date.

This morning I looked out the bathroom window with bleary eyes and wondered what this huge bird was, clambering about on the ploughed field. Then I realised it was only a small bird in the hedge just outside.

I need to stay off the leftover port... Moira said I was laughing in my sleep last night.
