OK- i know you all been waiting for the next batch of pictures, so here it is- painting the figures.
I started with the skin.






Next i will paint the beards, hair and clothes. At the end i may put some shadows ie: eyesockets with some oils. Well see...

Base colours for clothes applied. Now i will use some filters, and apply hair, and shadows with oils. Dry pigments to finish the job. I may do the insignia also

Crew look'n good! I always thought 'realistic' figures were always the hardest part of modelling. I was fine with aircraft, tanks, ships, diorama groundwork, weathering, but my figures never came out as good as I wanted.
