How to disable Game Pause?

While playing the SH3 game and soon as the stealth meter turns Red the game automatically goes into "Game Paused" and stays stuck in Game Pause mode. I am unable to unpause the game. I try the backspace and escape keys but those dont work. Anyone know how to disable this Game Pause?

Never heard of this.

If you are using SH Commander, you may want to check the TC settings, You may have "hunted" set to pause (ie 0).

If you aren't using it, get it, and check.

If you don't want to use SHC (can't see why not), then you will have to manually change that setting. I would assume it's in the basic.cfg file, but I'm not really sure. I assume everything is in basic.cfg until some one corrects me

My only suggestion off the top of my head is to open the game folder, go in the data\Cfg folder and open Main.cfg (should open in Notepad).

The second section from the top should look like this:

[TIME COMPRESSION]
TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=4
CriticalDamage=1
CrewEfficiency=1
AirEnemyDetected=1
SoundEffects=2
CharacterAnim=4
EnemyDetected=8
RadioReport=8
Particles=8
PrayState=8
HunterState=32
3DRender=32
Maximum=1024

in an unmodded stock game. In an unmodded GWX3 game it would look like this:

[TIME COMPRESSION]
TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=128
CriticalDamage=1
CrewEfficiency=1
AirEnemyDetected=1
SoundEffects=2
CharacterAnim=4
EnemyDetected=8
RadioReport=8
Particles=32
PrayState=8
HunterState=32
3DRender=32
Maximum=1024

I don't know if any situation there refers specifically to the one that's causing you to go into Pause mode, but the only thing that should have a value of 0 is the first line, TimeStop.

If anything else has a value of 0, that may well be the problem. Anything with a value of 0 is gonna pause your game.

It's praystate. That needs to be at least 1. It's whenever an enemy detects you. I have mine set for 32 so I don't get overly bored during DC attacks (I dive below their range).

Why praystate? Why not preystate? Sigh... ubi.....

I kinda thought it had to be that one if it was anything in there - nothing else would match up to the situation involved.

And "PrayState" is a good name for it!

It was a misspelling. It was discussed back when SH3 was first released, for all of you too young to have been here at the time.

Danke Schoen Frau Kaleun! Your advice helped! I use GW3 mod with the SH3 Cdr. Game is working great! Pray state is right on the mark especially when I get the message "Destroyer making attack Run".
