Yes, the missions will work.

However, depending on the changes made to the sonar models, the detection ranges may be different than what was intended by the mission designers.

I don't know but as I newbee with Patch 1.03b was running Bill's mission We dive at dawn kind on a fun cold war mission and a chance to see if I could hit a target with the 2 TLAM's. I made it out harbor with out hitting
any surface craft sail boats one of critical objectives was to not hit
any surface ships leaving port but never got a complet on that?
made to oparea Charlie then when to south looking for Victor 111 RU
and found him on my narrow band sonar and he headed south out of area
using my active sonar. when back to OPArea Charlie and fired two TLAM
at in land targets one made it to target and the other crashed someplace
in hills did not adjust my waypoints for the mountain terrain
Made a mistake of clicking on a way point during missle flight and game
locked up on me? :hmm: Seem's like my sound comes and goes when
I was switching station's ?
I made the critical hit on the in land building with my TLAM but never
got a complet on mission because of small craft in harbor when leaving?

Bill and other mission designers frequently use "goal triggers" to signify a mission failure condition, so having those listed as "incomplete" are a good thing.

When you "complete" one of those types of goals, you often lose points from your total.

Hmm... I just checked the mission and you are right, you should have gotten a good "complete" on that one. I'm not sure, what could have happened, unless you didn't make it to the assigned waypoint or two of the ships hit each other perhaps.

Sorry, I wish I could figure it out for sure.

Thank's LF
For taking a look at the mission I though I complet each task
as the radio messages came in No big deal
Now I try to start Sicilian Wedding with 1.03b and had all kind's of
weird damage when I start mission in harbor? I don't think it will work
with Patch 103B. I remmber that mission with SC never could make that
umpire pick up from the Helo? I would be at the right postion but never
could make the pickup
Have a good one LF "Going to Bed 3:08 in morning.
Take care

The umpire pickup problem is fixed in the current version of Sicilian Wedding.

Also, when leaving port DON'T use time acceleration if you want to avoid running into sailboats and/or fishing vessels.

while the missions will work from one version to another, I think saved games can only be played with the version they were started in.

Thank's Guys and answer from Bill,
Just started Sicilian Wedding as soon as mission loaded I cut my speed
down to zero then increase to 3 or 4 kts All seems to be fine now
Leaving port on course able to raise all my mast and ant
Saved mission and reloaded all seems fine
Have run this mission before in SC so I know the routine
Problem I never could get past was umpire pickup
Will check it out later Running 103 Beta
Regards
Lane
