AAhhhh, that's more like it. I'd love too but I have this simple problem. I'd have to drive 2000km to get there

Children, uncle Hottentot is now going to tell you today's pearl of wisdom that will help you along in life.

This, this, these and these are not proper surgical tools that you should use to tend a wound in hopes of avoiding a trip to nearest hospital. Also, no matter the amount, this is not proper anaesthetic and does not improve your hand-to-eye coordination in this operation.

Remember, children: pain in large dosages is not pleasant and your better half will complain about the difficulty of getting blood washed away from bed sheets.

I got a UK tour in planing for next year, I might come for a visit. And then continue to Leeds to visit Herr-Berbunch.

I shall keep that in mind next time I play home surgeon. This time I resorted to anaesthetic by swearing: if it hurts, you stick further and mumble litany of traditional curses as long as it takes for the pain to end.

Worked for as long as needed. And not a moment further.

Well depending on how you get here Leeds is ~70 miles (112 km) away. If you get the ferry from Rotterdam/Zebrugge to Hull it's only #25 miles (40 km).

If you can make a 2000 km journey I don't see why some UK members (and even some of our continental cousins) can't make a lesser journey.

Hmm, progress. Pain has turned from flashing to being sensitive to touch. The wound is not so swollen anymore and it seems I have managed to avoid accidentally infecting it and rotting my body away. Bleeding has stopped too, so the bed sheets are safe again.

I think I'm applying for the medical school.

Not much initially: a toenail growing inside. The problem is that I noticed it a little late and suddenly had a nice blob of tissue where there was not supposed to be one.

I've been to a mountain, swam in two lakes, got lost in the woods and almost got myself killed five times with the woman that I was reffering to since I posted that

But alas, she won't give in. I think she had some veeery bad experiences with men in the past and I'd sure love to know it it was so I can reherse my CPR on him while he's still alive for ruining the fun for me
