Well, it is a beta. If you mean BdU wanting you to scout a harbor in SW Australia, well just ignore it and go out and ravage convoys.

A lot of the modders of these surface ships are now working on the Royal Navy and Kriegsmarine mods for the Atlantic theatre.

Does this mod also work on the u-boat expansion pack??
because all the mods i downloaded don't work i first unrar them to the mod file and then i activate them by using generic mod enabler. but when i play the game i cant see anything refering to the activated mod |

Can't download W4lters range fix for the guns. It's kinda dumb closing to 2-3 klicks when the max range should be almost the horizon :S
Anyone have a backup of that fix that they can share? |

I'm getting errors with this mod and the scharnhorst and Bismarck mods. The textur of the ship is all black, except for the weapons and searchlights and crew, etc. The deck of the ship also is displayed but that is only part. Anyone have any possible fixes?

I was wondering if someone could port the GWX KMS Deutschland model into sh4and add her as a second playable pocket battleship:hmm: ...That model is really awesome!

Newbie Mod Question
Hi all. Sorry for the noob question but I'm a noob when it comes to modding.
I installed the pocket battleship mod with JSGME as instructed. My install of SH4 was clean, no other mods, latest version and had the u-boat expansion installed as well. The instructions say to install to your "MOD" directory, well I couldn't find a mod folder (I know some games default install mod folders and have mod options in the main menu. My copy of SH4 has none of these so I made a folder "MOD" in my silenthunter directory and extracted the battleship mod to that folder and ran JSGME that I got from GWX 3.0 (I copied and pasted the JSGME files from my SH3 directory to the SH4 directory and ran it from there and it run as a seperate program, not detecting the gwx mods. At first I just tried running JSGME from my desktop since GWX3.0 installed it there but it seemed to be linked to SH3 only It didn't detect SH4 so that's why I tried cutting and pasting a copy to the SH4 folder and it looks as if it worked). It detected and installed the mod but The game can't detect it or I can't see it anywhere one or the other. In the uboat campaign my only choice of ship is the type IX boat. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks PS my copy of SH4 is a no cd version from direct2drive. So is my copy of SH3 and I had no problem with GWX 3.0. I'm also running vista64 which installs all 32 bit software to \program files(x86)\ instead of plain \program files\ but this has never been a problem before. Actually my vista 64 has pleasantly suprised me by being very stable and running everything I throw at it for a year now without a hitch. |

You got the folder named wrong, mate, which should be called MODS. Plus you should reinstall JSGME, because if it is configured for SH3, it's mods folder is in your SH3 folder, not in SH4.
After you've done that, you should be good to go. |
