New member on Linux os

Hi all,
New registered member here.

I enjoy playing sims but also like modding to add historical detail and atmosphere.

I have an old athelon desktop with a 2gb sapphire GPU that was on XP os. I used to play IL2 modded and SH3 but I moved over to Linux sometime ago and I gave up playing games.
Recently I installed SH3 in Wine and it runs fine except that the nav map coastline disappears (the city markers ship contacts all remain but the land masses are not displayed) It's probably a bad install and I'll keep working on it.)
Looking forward to trying out LSH, WAC, NYGM and GWX to sadistically push the old machine and my own patience!
