Go to your MODS folder, open each folder inside. First thing you must see inside each folder is data folder. If it is something else then you installed it wrong.
Try to delete these two if you have them:
TDW_Ship_Inertia_1_1_0
IRAI_0_0_39_Inertia_Damage

Only important thing is to enable mods in bunker and not to add them later on sea (some can but...) and every time to save to different save. check if you did enable some patches and did not make changes in your options file that depend on them. For example the patch for independent props has two patches to enable in .exe and deck awash must be enabled in .exe and in options file.

Do not load ANY save, only one after the green tick is valid , others are corrupted because of mod changes!!

well after a few hours i finally have it working, at least so far. After adding one mod at a time and starting the game(took forever) I found out that TDW_Ship_Inertia_1_1_0 ,IRAI_0_0_39_Inertia_Damage, and TDW FX Fix for Sobers chimney smoke were each causing a CTD... Ive heard of the first two doing it but have to say Im surprised by the last one...

Unenable the mods .
Move the mods to a diffrent place but only move the actual mods .
Delete the MODS folder that had the mods in .
Delete the jsgme configuration settings icon.
Delete the yellow jsgme icon .
Download the mod enabler from here.
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3900
Extract it to your main SH5 game folder .
Double click on it so a folder called MODS is created in your main game folder .
Move all the mods back to the newly created MODS folder .
Try the MEP file again .
It should only take a few minutes to try it .

For me removing TDW_Ship_Inertia_1_1_0 worked like a charm!

Try that, you guys that have CTD on loading..

I do experience one other problem tho. When I surface my watch crew doesn't enter the bridge. Any1 knows what my cause this? A reload gets them up again, but its no fun to reload every 6 h after a sonar check...

Awsome, removing the TDW_Ship_Inertia_1_1_0 and IRAI_0_0_39_Inertia_Damage mods has stopped my CTD on bunker game load

Unfortuneately I still see the stock nav map and not the new map colours but I haven't done all the extra tweaks from sobers first post yet.

Thank you!

I dont think that ship inertia is the problem at all. I have noticed that wenever I CTD'd at least in my case it happened after clicking on the torpedo tube button. I got rid sound mods, silentmichals interia along with IRAI and it's been over a week since the game runs smooth as it should be. What is worth to mention I did clean install of the game and applied NoUplay patch Since than I stopped messing around with modes and all my earlier problems dissapeared.

All in all greate game with all that hard work and time peeps put into. Althought as a promising novice I've still got few questions:

- Is it normal that whenever I'm about to enter the port my navigator can't calculate a proper position on the map? Sometimes the fix given is few miles away from my actual position?

- Ocasionally when enemy ships blow up they tend to shot up in the air couple hundread feets which looks to me more like a game bug?

- There seems to be no penalty for sinking allied ships (I'm not good with history and may be wrong but I scored few point for sinking finnish vessels altought I didn't try it wit german ships)

- Once started do I have to accasionally adjust real navigation script to fit current time ar leave it running as it is?

That is normal. thete was no GPS these days if you want more accurate reading use other one to calculate but it will need more time.

I also have the problem getting a CTDS if loading the career.

- Using non steam version, patched to 1.2
- Use the MEP file from 22.01 and also from 24.01
- carrer was started as mentioned in the thread

The historic missions all are running fine.

System specs: Win7 64bit, I7975@4,2, 12 GB memory, 2 x GTX580 1,5GB (no SLI)

Any idea or hints how to proceed to identify the issue?

Thanks
Mischa

I really do not know what what else could go wrong, game really works. Only than I can offer you to personally check your files, but that requires some trust from your side..
